Bullets tonight

November 06, 1996

Opponent: San Antonio Spurs

Place: USAir Arena

Time: 7:30 p.m.

TV/Radio: HTS/WWRC (980 AM)

Outlook: The Spurs, who played at Cleveland last night, are finding out how difficult life can be without C David Robinson (sore lower back, out for a month). Also, with F Chuck Person (sore back) out for possibly the season, the Spurs have had trouble finding an offensive flow in dropping their first two games with the focus of the attack on F Dominique Wilkins. The Bullets continue to play short-handed, entering their third straight without a true center. C Gheorghe Muresan (hip flexor) practiced again yesterday, making his return from the injured list next Tuesday more likely. F Chris Webber returned to practice yesterday after missing Monday's workout with flu-like symptoms. G Rod Strickland missed yesterday's practice for personal reasons. Washington split its two games against the Spurs last season.
