Ellicott City: 3800 block of Bonny Bridge Place: Someone observed pry marks on the rear basement window after an attempted break-in Tuesday morning. The window remained locked.

Ellicott City: 8600 block of U.S. 40: Someone kicked in the front door and entered a vacant residence Thursday. Nothing was taken.

Ellicott City: 3200 block of Normandy Woods Drive: Steven G. Kitchens, 22, was arrested Sunday morning after he was found asleep in someone else's apartment. He was released the same day after posting $2,000 bail.

Ellicott City: 4900 block of Montgomery Road: Someone opened a vehicle's rear window, removed house keys and entered the house Friday night. A purse and cash were taken.

Elkridge: 6600 block of U.S. 1: Someone kicked in the front door of a trailer and entered Friday afternoon. A handgun and ammunition were taken.

Elkridge: 7100 block of Ducketts Lane: Someone entered an apartment through a side window, cut the telephone lines and ransacked several rooms Friday afternoon. Nothing was taken.

Elkridge: 6000 block of Hunt Club Road: Three Elkridge juveniles, ages 11, 11 and 9, were arrested Saturday and charged with breaking into a garage and vandalizing several vehicles. The children were released to the custody of their parents.
