Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 3: 31 p.m. Thursday to an auto fire in the 6500 block of Ridge Road in Taylorsville. Units were out 30 minutes.

Gamber: Firefighters from Reese assisted Gamber at 4: 06 p.m. Thursday, responding to a woods fire in the 2600 block of Sykesville Road. Units were out one hour and 15 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 6: 10 p.m. Thursday, responding to a fire alarm in the 6700 block of Marvin Avenue. Units were out 21 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters from Winfield and West Friendship in Howard County assisted Sykesville at 1: 49 a.m. Friday, responding to a house fire in the 1000 block of Schoolhouse Road. Units were out 45 minutes.

Sykesville: A Westminster woman told police Thursday that someone broke a window of her pickup while it was parked in the 7600 block of Gaither Road and later assaulted her.
