Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Eastern District

Shooting: Two men in a car in the 2300 block of E. Eager St. were shot Saturday by a gunman they drove past. The victims, one from Joppatowne, the other from North Bradford Street, were treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital for wounds that were not life threatening. No arrest had been made, and police knew of no motive for the shootings.

Northern District

Burglary: Property valued at $170 was stolen Saturday from a house in the 500 block of McCabe Ave.

Burglary: At least $500 was stolen Saturday from A-1 Pizza and Subs in the 3400 block of Greenmount Ave.

Assault: A man and woman were arguing over money in their home in the 5200 block of Craig Ave. on Saturday when the man hit the woman with a baseball bat, causing a minor injury. The man was being sought.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: An Oldsmobile Cutlass with tags DGL 131 was stolen Saturday from the 3800 block of Liberty Heights Ave.

Stolen car: A 1992 Dodge with tags DBM 250 was stolen Saturday from the 3600 block of Eldorado Ave.

Burglary: Clothing valued at nearly $300 was stolen Saturday from Carter's dress shop in the 3600 block of Rogers Ave. Entry was gained by breaking a window with a brick.

Southwestern District

Carjacking: A 19-year-old Owings Mills man was in the 3200 block of Clifton Ave. on Friday when another man assaulted him, robbed him of his keys and drove away in his 1990 Honda Accord with tags DGL 786.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Police and a dog unit entered Towson Senior High School in the first block of Cedar Ave. on Saturday, searching for intruders who broke a window near the gymnasium door to gain entry. During the search, police heard at least two people talking but they escaped. It was not immediately known if any property was missing.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A 21-speed bike valued at nearly $300 was stolen Saturday from a garage in the first block of Maymont Court in Timonium.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: A 12-gauge shotgun, .380 semiautomatic pistol, another handgun and $200, all valued at $1,000, were stolen Saturday from a house in the 1200 block of Martin Court.

Stabbing: A resident of the first block of Albess Court was near his home Saturday when a man stabbed him in the chest. He was in serious condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northpoint Precinct

Vandalism: The windows and windshields on a 1995 Dodge Caravan and a 1964 Chevrolet pickup truck were shattered over the weekend while they were parked in the 1900 block of Nevill Road. Damage was estimated at $800.

Stolen car/arrests: Police stopped a stolen 1986 Dodge in the 2600 block of N. Marine Ave. on Saturday and arrested a man and two teen-age girls. Steven Runkle, 19, of the 1600 block of Gray Haven Court was charged with auto theft. The girls were released to their parents. Police said the car was stolen in Cumberland several days ago.
