Dulaney clinches tie for title No. 15 Lions come back to beat Franklin, 21-14

Cliff Berger completed 15 of 23 passes for 206 yards, three touchdowns and a two-point conversion to lead 15th-ranked Dulaney (8-1) past Franklin, 21-14.

Dulaney trailed, 14-13, with six minutes left when Berger completed a 40-yard touchdown pass and followed up with a two-point conversion to Steve Duncan for the win.

Dulaney clinches at least a tie for the Baltimore County 3A-4A Division title. Dulaney, which finishes at home next week with a non-league game against Towson, is 7-1 in the league and Woodlawn and Perry Hall are 6-1. The loss dropped Franklin to 5-4.

Eastern Tech 18, Randallstown 12: Senior Rodney Pearce threw for a touchdown and ran for another as the Mustangs (6-3) edged the host Rams (2-7).

Scott Miller preserved the win for Eastern Tech with a goal-line tackle with two seconds remaining.

John Carroll 53, Gibbons 0: Scooter Monroe rushed for 149 yards on four carries and scored three touchdowns as the host Patriots (3-6) rolled over the Crusaders (0-9).

Chris Nesbitt made eight solo tackles and had five assists to lead a defense that recorded two safeties.

Milford Mill 46, Pikesville 0: Germaine Teagel rushed 11 times for 94 yards and three touchdowns as host Milford Mill (6-3) shut out Pikesville (0-9).

Greg Forbes rushed 10 times for 88 yards and a touchdown and a two-point conversion.

Hickey 42, Lansdowne 7: Quarterback Todd Turner threw two touchdown passes, one a 33-yarder to Tyrell Henderson, as Hickey (7-1) cruised at home over 5-3 Lansdowne.

Chesapeake-BC 20, Loch Raven 19: Chesapeake-BC trailed, 19-14, with six seconds left when Chris Johnston completed a 5-yard touchdown pass to Phil Lucas to lift host Chesapeake-BC (2-7) over Loch Raven (3-6).

Johnston went 13-for-25 for 150 yards and two touchdowns and a two-point conversion. Johnston also rushed for a third touchdown.

Oakland Mills 52, Mount Hebron 0: Fardan Carter rushed 12 times for 223 yards and six touchdowns to lead host Oakland Mills (6-3) in a rout of Mount Hebron (3-6).

Carter had touchdown runs of 69, 67, 25, 15, 3 and 1 yard for the Scorpions, who led 38-0 at the half.

Wilde Lake 53, River Hill 0: Sean Jefferson rushed eight times for 134 yards and three touchdowns, and Dain Lewis added two scores and 124 yards on 10 carries as the fifth-ranked Wildecats improved to 9-0 with a road rout of winless River Hill (0-9).
