Calvert Hall coach Bill Karpovich recorded his 400th career win as Brett Wagner scored twice in the Cardinals' 6-1 romp over visiting John Carroll yesterday.
Karpovich, 57, is 400-82-33 in 30 years at Calvert Hall. This year's 18-0-1 team is No. 8 nationally.
Karpovich attributes his success to an "an excellent situation," adding: "I've had good material."
