A Pasadena woman was attacked outside a bar in Elizabeth Landing Wednesday and robbed of $26, county police said.
Esther J. Smith, 57, who suffered cuts and severe swelling on the right side of her face, was treated at North Arundel Hospital and released.
Smith told police she was getting in her car outside Beezer's, a tavern in the 7900 block of Elizabeth Road, about 7: 30 p.m. when she was struck in the face and knocked unconscious. She did not see her attacker, police said.
Smith came to a few minutes later to find her purse on the ground and the money missing, police said.

Pasadena: Someone pried open a basement door of a home in the 200 block of Hillcrest Road between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday and stole electronic equipment and jewelry, together worth $3,800.
