"Fresh from the Family Farm" is the title of a new video for kids ages 3 to 10 that shows where food comes from and how it is grown. The $12 video follows the boy Nick as he visits a `D farmers' market and then a farm. Sales of the video benefit FARM AID, the nonprofit organization founded in 1985 to support America's farm families. Look for the video at Wal-Mart and some farmers' markets.

Baltimore International Culinary College is getting a taste of the Far East with exchange chef Hidemitsu Ashizawa, of Kawasaki, Japan.
