A woman who posed as a customer Saturday at a Glen Burnie Dunkin' Donuts robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money at gunpoint, county police said.
Clerk Bhavana B. Patel said a woman walked into the store in the 8000 block of Ritchie Highway about 5 a.m. and ordered food. When Patel rang up the sale, the woman pulled out a handgun and demanded money. She reached over the counter, took money from the register and ran away, police said. Police did not have a detailed description of the robber.
Police charge 5 people with drug possession
County police arrested five people and seized 7.5 grams of crack cocaine Friday in a raid at a Glen Burnie house.
John Timothy Hubbard, 37, of the 100 block of South Meadow Drive in Glen Burnie was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Linda L. Lizzaro, 32, Michael Sturdivant, 28, both of the South Meadow Drive address; Helen Marie Fincham, 30, of the 800 block of Pasadena Road in Pasadena; and Lisa Marie Houston, 34, of the first block of Marbury Road in Severna Park were charged with possession of crack cocaine.
Police began a two-week investigation at the South Meadow Drive house after neighbors complained of illegal drug activity there. Narcotics officers said they searched the house about 9: 30 p.m., arrested the adults, and recovered drug paraphernalia and 7.5 grams of what later tested positive for crack cocaine. The drugs have a street value of $750, police said.
