A Curtis Bay woman was abducted and sexually assaulted Sunday by a man who handcuffed her and threatened her with a gun, then left her on the side of Tanyard Cove Road in Pasadena, county police said.

The woman told police that an acquaintance, who was dressed in a security guard uniform, picked her up at her home late Saturday. At some point he handcuffed her, pulled a .45 caliber automatic from beneath the driver's seat, and fondled the woman as he drove.

After the man released her, the victim flagged down a motorist who took her to a telephone to call police around 12: 30 a.m. Sunday.

The gunman was described as white, between 20 and 25 years old, with a thin build and short military style haircut.

He had reddish blond hair, was cleanshaven, and was wearing a light blue security guard uniform with a gun belt and a dark blue jacket.
