county's school system.

50 years ago (week of Sept. 15-21, 1946):

The Ellicott City Homemakers Club met at the home of Mrs. Frank Arnold. Mrs. Kay Cook and Mrs. Arnold demonstrated the Cornell University method of shirt ironing, while Mrs. C. Higinbotham narrated.
