A high-class summer colony is proposed as negotiations are under way for the purchases of the 400 acres of Bay Ridge, the former leading excursion resort on the Chesapeake Bay. The price of $125,000 could not be confirmed. -- The Sun, Sept. 8, 1921.

The building of the state highway bridge across the Severn River near Annapolis will begin this winter and is expected to be completed within two years at a cost of about $900,000. -- The Sun, Sept. 25, 1921.

Final action on the locations of the two golf courses for the Gibson Island Golf and Yacht Club will be decided today, according to W. Stuart Symington, Jr., originator of the project. -- The Sun, Sept. 30, 1921.
