Ellicott City: 4100 block of Pemberton Court: Someone entered an unlocked car and used a garage door opener inside the vehicle to open a garage early yesterday morning. The intruder rummaged through another car inside the garage, but nothing was taken.

Ellicott City: 4100 block of Pemberton Court: Burglars broke a window of a car parked in a driveway and used a garage door opener to enter the garage early yesterday morning. The intruders stole a calculator, cellular phone and a briefcase. A vehicle spotted at the scene later was recovered in Baltimore.

Ellicott City: 4300 block of Long Gate Parkway: The locks on three trailer doors for L. H. Cranston and Sons were cut between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. A generator and tools were taken from one trailer.

Ellicott City: 4300 block of Montgomery Road: A Driggs Corp. work trailer was broken into Tuesday about 6: 20 a.m., but nothing was taken. About 40 minutes later, an Opus East LLC trailer at the same location was broken into, and generators, pumps and power and hand tools were removed.
