Harford crash kills woman, injures driver

A 19-year-old Street woman died early yesterday after a 1993 Jeep Cherokee in which she was a passenger ran off the road.

Rachael Lynn Lewis of the 3100 block of Old Scarboro Road was killed after the Jeep veered off the road in the 1700 block of Poole Road in Darlington about 12: 14 a.m., striking several trees and rolling over.

The driver, Daniel Wade Hodge, 20, of the 1100 block of Poplar Grove Road, Street, was flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He was listed yesterday in critical but stable condition.

Harford County sheriff's deputies are investigating the accident.
