Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northern District

Shooting: A 49-year-old man was shot in the back with a BB pistol by another man Monday in the 700 block of Belgian Ave. The victim was released after hospital treatment.

Theft: Stereo equipment valued at $400 was stolen Monday from a car in the 3500 block of Clipper Mill Road.

Theft: A radar detector and cash were stolen Sunday from a car parked in the 3400 block of Pleasant Place.

Robbery: A woman at an automated teller machine in the 5100 block of Roland Ave. was robbed of $60 Monday by a man with a sharp object.

Northeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A 1993 Dodge Caravan with tags 550250M was stolen Sunday in the 1600 block of Exeter Hall Ave.

Western District

Arrest: Police arrested a man from the 1900 block of W. Lafayette Ave. on Monday after he argued with a woman, then doused her and four children with lighter fluid and threatened to set them on fire. No injury was reported.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a Portugal Street woman of $200 on Monday in the 1900 block of W. Baltimore St.

Stabbing: A 20-year-old Southeast Baltimore man was stabbed in the back by a man Monday in the 2600 block of Pennsylvania Ave. The victim was treated at Sinai Hospital.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Someone entered Ann's beauty salon in the 3300 block of Edmondson Ave. on Monday through a rear window and stole beauty supplies valued at more than $600.

Robbery: A couple robbed a 41-year-old man of $80 at gunpoint Monday in the 4600 block of Manordene Road.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 400 block of N. Eutaw St. yesterday and stole a 19-inch television and a videocassette recorder.

Theft: Someone entered an office at the Korean Retirement Center in the 800 block of Park Ave. between Sunday and yesterday and stole photographic equipment valued at more than $800.

North Point Precinct

Theft from vehicle: Tools valued at $500 were stolen Tuesday from a 1979 Ford pickup parked at North Point Boulevard and Rolling Mill Road.

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 2900 block of Yorkway through a kitchen window Monday and stole $500.

Stolen car: A silver-colored 1991 Plymouth Acclaim with tags VZX 425 was stolen Monday in the 7800 block of Eastdale Road.

Malicious burning/arrests: Police arrested two boys, 12 and 14, Monday after they allegedly set a fire in a hallway at Hidden Cove Apartments in the 2000 block of Paulette Road.

Stolen car: A black 1990 Chrysler LeBaron with tags JHD 203 was stolen between Sunday and Monday in the first block of Highshire Court.

Theft from vehicle: Someone entered a 1995 Ford van parked in the 8200 block of Kavanagh Road between Saturday and Monday and stole a cellular phone, two vacuum cleaners, a videocassette recorder, two pagers, and electronic TV games, all valued at nearly $3,800.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A couple was entering their apartment building in the first block of Spindrift Circle on Monday night when four men robbed them of cash and property valued at more than $100.
