Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Northern District

Burglary: A 3-foot python valued at $300 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 800 block of Power St. by someone who entered through a front door.

Burglary: More than $150 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 200 block of Woodlawn Road by someone who entered through a porch door.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man was walking away from an automated teller machine in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. on Wednesday when a gunman robbed him of $20.

Burglary: Clothing, shoes and a telephone were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 3000 block of Grantley Road by someone who entered through a kitchen window.

Southwestern District

Assault: An employee of a grocery store in the 800 block of N. Woodington Road was unloading items from his car there Wednesday when a man with a cast on his left leg hit him with a bottle and struck him several times in the face with a crutch. The victim was treated at St. Agnes Hospital for a possible broken jaw. Police had no motive for the attack and no arrest had been made.

Western District

Cutting/arrest: Police arrested a woman in the stabbing of a man yesterday at the man's home in the 900 block of McKean Ave. The victim was treated for back, neck, arm and leg wounds at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Fishing equipment valued at nearly $3,000 was stolen from a garage in the 12000 block of Belair Road on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A bike, table, vacuum cleaner and radio, all valued at more than $900, were stolen Wednesday from a storage locker in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A watch valued at $200 and $2,000 in cash were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 700 block of W. Padonia Road by someone who entered through a door.

Robbery/arrest: An employee of the Pizza Hut in the 9900 block of York Road was about to make a night deposit Wednesday at the NationsBank in the first block of Cranbrook Road when a man with a knife robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money. Later, police arrested a 37-year-old suspect and were holding him at the precinct pending armed robbery and deadly weapon charges.
