Pasadena man charged with burglary

September 04, 1996

County police arrested a Pasadena man Monday on burglary and disorderly conduct charges outside a Glen Burnie apartment building, county police said.

Leo Otto Stamm, 32, of the 700 block of Powhattan Beach Road was charged with burglary and disorderly conduct.

Officers were called to the first block of Ninth Ave. about 7: 30 a.m. to handle a domestic dispute. When they arrived, they found a man standing outside the building, screaming.

When officers tried to quiet the man, he told them he had been involved in a break-in at the complex, police said. He said a woman who lived there had broken the rear window of a neighbor's apartment and stolen in-line skates, a stereo and a set of speakers.

The officers had no knowledge of a burglary but searched the apartment of the woman identified as the burglar. They found evidence that the other apartment had been broken into and arrested the man on burglary charges.
