Winston-Salem (34-30 in the South) grabbed a 2-0 lead on Nick Morrow's fourth-inning homer off Julio Moreno (9-9) and held on.

Senators 2, Baysox 1: DaRond Stovall's homer with two outs in the 12th off Matt Grott (2-1) lifted host Harrisburg over Bowie in the Double-A Eastern League.

The Senators' magic number over the Indians for the second and final playoff spot in the Southern Division playoffs is two.
