Paul R. Perzynski III, 57, state sanitarian, pharmacist

Paul R. Perzynski III, a sanitarian in the state Department of the Environment for 17 years, died of a massive heart attack Saturday while attending an Orioles game at Camden Yards. He was 57 and lived in Guilford.

The Baltimore native graduated from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in 1963 and was a pharmacist and sales representative before working for the state.

He was a communicant and sang in the choir at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 N. Charles St., where a memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. today.

He is survived by his wife of nine months, the former Susan Coyle; two daughters, Laura Perzynski Stirling of Federal Hill and Dana Marie Perzynski of Clarksville; his mother, Catherine M. Perzynski of Lutherville; three brothers, Richard A. and Dennis Perzynski, both of Westminster, and Neal T. Perzynski of Bel Air; a sister, Kathleen P. Kolish of Carney; two stepsons, Stuart M. Sutley of Homeland and Benjamin C. Sutley of Rodgers Forge; and a grandson.
