Aerobatic Stunt Show

Bring the summer to a close by attending the "Gathering of Heroes" Aerobatic Stunt Show this weekend at the Ocean City Airport.

Enjoy a heart-stopping barnstormer as he puts his bright yellow Piper Cub through its paces, and watch daredevil pilots stall, spin, roll and loop their Pitts Special. And keep an eye on the skies for other aerobatics and parachute jumpers. On the ground, there will be plenty of displays, air-related merchandise, model airplane demonstrations and food.

In the evening, enjoy a free concert on the beach. The Drifters will present their feel-good music at 7: 30 p.m. just off Caroline Street and the Boardwalk. Bring chairs or blankets and stay for a laser show, starting at 9: 30 p.m.

Air show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The airport entrance is on Route 611, 3 miles west of Ocean City, off Route 50. Admission is $8 for adults and free for ages 12 and

younger accompanied by an adult. Call (410) 213-2417. For concert information, call (410) 250-0125. Celebrate the Labor Day weekend at the 5th Annual YO! Philadelphia Festival on the waterfront at Penn's Landing. More than 30,000 fans will participate in two days of family fun with YO! Music, YO! Kids, YO! Sports, YOlympics and YO! Food.

Created in Philadelphia, YO! Music is a mix of live music with home-grown artists and Philly favorites performing continuously on two stages, including blues rocker Popa Chubby and actor Kevin Bacon, playing as part of the Bacon Brothers.
