Fire

Westminster: Firefighters from Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester assisted Westminster at 9: 43 a.m. Saturday, responding to a building fire in the 100 block of Airport Drive. Units were out one hour and 10 minutes.

Reese: Firefighters responded at 8: 40 p.m. Saturday to a trash bin fire on Muerfield Court. Units were out two hours.

Police

Westminster: A resident of Pennsylvania Avenue told city police that someone damaged his vehicle while it was parked outside his home sometime before 6: 13 a.m. Aug. 20. The loss was estimated at $200.

Westminster: A resident of Old Taneytown Road told city police that someone spray-painted a garage wall in the 100 block of E. Main St. sometime before 3: 14 p.m. Thursday. Damage was estimated at $150.

Westminster: A Hampstead resident told city police that someone broke a rear side window on his vehicle while it was parked on Carroll Street sometime before 7: 45 p.m. Friday. Damage was estimated at $175.

Westminster: A resident of Yellow Lilly Court told city police that someone stole a radar detector from his vehicle while it was parked on Avenel Circle sometime before 9: 59 p.m. Thursday. The loss was estimated at $150.

Westminster: A resident of Charles Street told city police that someone stole her red 1996 Mazda 626 from in front of her home sometime between 2: 30 a.m. and 5: 35 a.m. Saturday. The loss was estimated at $22,000.
