The name of McCormick & Co.'s new vice president of sales and marketing was misspelled in Monday's editions of The Sun. The correct spelling is Mark T. Timbie.

New positions

McCormick appoints Timble vice president

McCormick & Co. appointed Mark T. Timble vice president of sales and marketing for the Hunt Valley-based international spice and flavors company. He will have responsibility for the marketing department, field sales organization, special markets, national account sales and sales administration. An MBA graduate of Columbia University, he joins the company from his post as a senior vice president with Tetley Inc.


Banking and finance

Crestar names Finney senior vice president

Crestar Bank announced the selection of Thomas Finney as senior vice president for its Maryland region trust services division. He will recruit and develop a team of local professionals familiar with the needs of the residents of the Maryland market. Finney, an MSB graduate of Johns Hopkins University, formerly was a vice president and senior portfolio manager with Oxford Capital Management. He and his wife reside in Towson.

Morgan Financial Group appointed Mike McFeeley vice president and director of marketing, and announced that Karin L. Schwartz joined the firm as a producer. Before joining the Lutherville-based insurance agency, McFeeley, a Finksburg resident, was with Lincoln Life as second vice president, director of life marketing. Schwartz, who holds life, health disability and annuity licenses, will build and manage estates of business owners and professionals.


Devitt vice president at Willse & Associates

Willse & Associates, an Owings Mills-based third party administrator, named Lawrence S. Devitt vice president of sales. He will have responsibility for the marketing and sales functions of the firm, which offers self-insured employers health care cost management, data analysis and claims administration. Formerly a vice president with CoreSource, he is a graduate of West Virginia University and is a master's candidate at Johns Hopkins University.

Care Rehab Inc., headquartered in Towson, appointed Grace B. Smith, formerly with Raffel HealthCare Group, director of human resources. The Goucher College graduate will be responsible for hiring, employee relations and personnel practices.
