Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Southern District

Robbery: A woman was walking near her home in the 2700 block of Spellman Road Wednesday when a man robbed her of a set of keys.

Central District

Robbery/shooting: An 18-year-old man was in the 1300 block of Myrtle Ave. Wednesday when two men, one with a large caliber semiautomatic handgun, robbed him of $70. As he ran away, the victim was struck by bullet fragments in the legs, feet and an arm. He was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center and released.

Robbery: A resident of Scotland was in the first block of W. Pratt St. yesterday when he was attacked by several youths, who struck him in the face and robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Stereo equipment and a 20-inch bike, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen Wednesday from an apartment in the 6800 block of Sturbridge Drive.

Robbery: A man was riding his bike in the 2800 block of Roselawn Ave. Wednesday when two men, one of whom implied he was armed, robbed him of the bike, valued at $200.

Theft: A man stole $20 worth of steaks from Eddie's supermarket in the 4500 block of Erdman Ave. Wednesday.

Western District

Assault: A man was in the 2000 block of W. Fayette St. Wednesday when he was attacked by three men, who struck him with their fists and a baseball bat. The victim refused medical treatment.

Theft/arrest: Police arrested a woman who attempted to leave the Rite Aid pharmacy at Mondawmin Mall Wednesday without paying for makeup products valued at $3.

Robbery try/assault: A 28-year-old man was in the 1300 block of W. North Ave. Wednesday when two men demanded his money. One of the men struck the victim in the face with a handgun. The assailants got no money.

Southwestern District

Stolen car: A 1995 Ford with tags MKH 673 was stolen Wednesday in the 1100 block of Mount Holly St.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: After asking for coffee and a pack of cigarettes at the Royal Farm store in the 8200 block of Harford Road Wednesday, a man pulled a handgun and demanded money. The gunman fled with $60, about $19 worth of cigarettes and a 79-cent cup of coffee.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 25-year-old man from Phoenix was walking in an alley behind the first block of W. Pennsylvania Ave. Wednesday when two men asked him for the time. He was then assaulted and robbed at gunpoint of cash and property, all valued at more than $50.

Cockeysville Precinct

Stolen car: A 1992 Honda Accord with tags BXL 361 was stolen Wednesday in the first block of Windmill Chase.
