Highlights: Four-year starter at left tackle for the Bruins. Started all 23 games UCLA played over the past two seasons and allowed just two quarterback sacks. Outland Trophy winner as the nation's premier lineman. Unanimous first-team All-America selection as well as All-Pacific 10. Averaged 13 knockdown blocks per game last season. Recipient of the John Boncheff Jr. Memorial Award, given to the Bruins' Rookie of the Year.

Personal: A history major, he twice earned Director's Honor Roll honors. Product of St. Alban's private school in Washington, D.C. Was a second-team All-America selection as a senior. Named the Washington area's Player of the Year by USA Today. His mother, Cassandra, is the executive director of the Council on Legal Education Opportunity, a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities for minority students.
