Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Southern District

Burglary: A 27-inch television valued at more than $400 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 200 block of S. Vincent St.

Stolen car: A 1990 Chevrolet with vanity tags WEG22 was stolen yesterday in the 200 block of Arlington Ave.

Central District

Robbery: A woman was near the light rail station in the 700 block of N. Howard St. Monday when five men knocked her to the ground and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at nearly $90. The woman suffered leg and facial injuries, but did not seek medical treatment. The robbery was reported yesterday.

Burglary: A window air conditioner, stereo equipment and a compact disc player, all valued at $600, were stolen yesterday from St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church in the 100 block of E. Madison St. Entry was gained through a second-floor window.

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $80 was stolen yesterday from a 1995 Chevrolet parked in the 200 block of St. Paul St.

Northern District

Stolen car: A 1994 Infiniti with tags CGR 804 was stolen Tuesday in the 3100 block of N. Calvert St.

Stolen car: A 1995 Plymouth van with tags 763471M was stolen Tuesday in the 5800 block of Melville Ave.

Theft from vehicle: A briefcase valued at more than $200 was stolen Tuesday from a 1994 Nissan parked in the 5900 block of York Road.

Theft: Clothing valued at more than $100 was stolen Tuesday from the Council Thrift Shop in the 2000 block of N. Charles St.

Southwestern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone, valued at more than $200, and $200 in cash were stolen Tuesday from a 1992 Ford truck parked in the 1200 block of Bernard Drive.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Edmondson Ave. through the front door Tuesday and stole $100.

Shooting: A 28-year-old man, who was shot Tuesday in the 2800 block of Riggs Ave., was in critical condition yesterday at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Burglary: A telephone valued at $50 and $150 in cash were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 5300 block of Carriage Court.

Robbery: Two men, one with a large caliber handgun, robbed Miller's Grocery in the 100 block of S. Kossuth St. Tuesday of money and $200 worth of cigarettes.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed the High's dairy store in the 8200 block of Philadelphia Road Tuesday.

Burglary: Police were seeking a former resident of Nehemiah House, a shelter for homeless people in the 8700 block of Philadelphia Road, who entered the building Tuesday and stole property of unknown value.

Rape: A woman was in the 6100 block of Marquette Road Tuesday when a man forced her into an apartment and raped her. She was treated at Greater Baltimore Medical Center's rape crisis center.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: A scooter and two bikes, all valued at more than $700, were stolen Tuesday from a shed in the 7900 block of Bank St.

Burglary: Three bikes and a cassette tape player, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 7500 block of Lange St.

Burglary: A TV and videocassette recorder, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen Tuesday from the bedroom of a house in the 300 block of Pine St.

Towson Precinct

Stolen car: A 1991 maroon Plymouth Voyager with tags 819028M was stolen Tuesday in the 1800 block of Wendover Road.

Burglary: Cash and a .22-caliber rifle were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1500 block of Orlando Road.
