Lucille Sutton is $361 wealthier, thanks to a winning 50/50 raffle ticket, purchased from the Sykesville Post 9952 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The Westminster resident held ticket 0773, drawn Monday by post officers. She shares the $722 prize with the post, which will use the proceeds for its community service fund.
The 60-member post donates to many local charitable projects, including Carroll Food Sunday.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 5: 35 p.m. Monday to a propane gas leak in the 7200 block of Pommel Drive. Units were out 22 minutes.
Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 7 p.m. Monday to investigate a report of a fire on Springfield Avenue. Units were out 12 minutes.
