Faith and St. Mark's plans picnic Aug. 25, open house Sept. 8

Faith and St. Mark's United Church of Christ, 4839 Hazelwood Ave. in Northeast Baltimore, is having a "Back to Sunday School" picnic at 9: 45 a.m. Aug. 25.

Faith and St. Mark's will have a Sunday School open house at 9: 30 a.m. Sept. 8.

Talks on Catholicism for non-Catholics planned

People who want to learn more about the Roman Catholic faith are invited to a weekly series of discussions for non-Catholics.

The discussions will be held at 7 p.m. Thursdays beginning Sept. 19 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4795 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City. Information: 796-7459.

City Jewish congregation to introduce clergy team

A gathering to meet the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation's new clergy team -- Rabbi Rex D. Perlmeter, Cantor Judith K. Rowland, Rabbi Rosalin Landis and Rabbi Peter Kessler -- will be at 7: 30 p.m. Aug. 26 at the temple, 7401 Park Heights Ave., Baltimore.
