British teen robbed in mall arcade

A 14-year-old British boy visiting relatives in Columbia was robbed in an arcade at The Mall in Columbia Monday evening, Howard County police said yesterday.

The 14-year-old was playing arcade games about 5: 45 p.m. when a 15-year-old from Columbia grabbed his wallet, scratched and kicked him, said Sgt. Steven Keller, a police spokesman.

Charges are pending against the 15-year-old, who was in his parents' custody yesterday.
