Man accused of threat to brother

August 08, 1996

Police arrested a Crownsville man Monday on charges he threatened his brother while armed with a 15-inch knife during an argument.

Charles N. Passero, 40, of the 1100 block of Claire Road, was charged with disorderly conduct and illegal possession of a deadly weapon.

Steve Passero called police to his house in the 1700 block of W. Bancroft Lane in Crofton about midnight, saying his brother, armed with a knife, was beating on his door, police said.

Police found a man with a knife walking in front of the house. When officers ordered the man to drop the weapon and lie on the ground, the man complied and was arrested, police said.
