Police arrested a Glen Burnie man Sunday on a church parking lot.

Eric Scott Scheppske, 20, of the first block of Cedar Drive was charged with possession of marijuana.

Police got a tip from a citizen about 6 p.m. that a man was selling drugs from a 1995 Ford Probe on the Marley United Methodist Church parking lot in the first block of Marley Neck Road in Pasadena.

Officer Keith Light went to the church and found a man drinking a beer. The officer asked the man to get out of the car, and as he did, Light could see a pack of cigars on the floorboard with one of the cigars hollowed out, police said.

Light asked the man if he had any drugs. The man told the officer that he had just tossed a package of marijuana under the seat, police said.

Light looked under the seat and found a bag of what later tested positive for marijuana. The man was arrested.
