Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Central District

Burglary: A fax machine, drill and a camera, all valued at more than $500, were stolen between Saturday and yesterday from a construction trailer parked in the 200 block of E. Madison St.

Theft from auto: A lap-top computer valued at more than $2,000 was stolen yesterday from a 1995 Jeep parked in the 300 block of Cathedral St.

Northeastern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $300 was stolen Sunday from a 1989 truck parked in the 5100 block of Benton Heights Ave.

Robbery: A man was in the 1500 block of Ramblewood Road on Sunday when a gunman robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $60.

Burglary: More than $300 and a .38-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver were stolen between Saturday and Sunday from Rudo's Sports at Northwood Shopping Center in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road.

Burglary: Two microwave ovens and a toaster oven, all valued at nearly $2,000, were stolen between Saturday and Sunday from the Dunkin' Donuts store in the 6300 block of Belair Road.

Northern District

Carjacking/arrest: A woman was about to exit her white 1995 Dodge Neon in the 3100 block of Rosekemp Ave. on Sunday when two men, one armed, ordered her out of the car and drove off. Later, police spotted the car in the 2900 block of Mathews St. Joseph Batty, 25, of the 800 block of Gilrubin Court was charged with armed carjacking and related offenses. The second man remained at large.

Robbery: A woman was in the 500 block of Winston Ave. on Sunday when a man robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $25.

Burglary: A baby crib and family photos, all valued at nearly $200, were stolen from a storage shed in the 2600 block of Banister Road between Saturday and Sunday.

Western District

Carjacking: A man was driving his red 1995 Ford Contour SE with tags CYY 320 yesterday and was stopped at Mount Street and Edmondson Avenue when a gunman forced him from the car. The gunman was joined by a female accomplice and drove off.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A gas-powered trimmer and a leaf blower, all valued at $300, were stolen Sunday in the 5000 block of East Ave. in Rosedale.

Stolen car: A four-door maroon 1991 Subaru Legacy with tags AWP 227 was stolen Sunday from Golden Ring Mall in the 6400 block of Rossville Blvd.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Cash, jewelry and a 9 mm semiautomatic handgun, all valued at more than $3,600, were stolen between Saturday and Sunday from a house in the 3500 block of Parkfalls Drive.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A bike valued at $300 was stolen Saturday from a storage locker in the 1100 block of Charles View Way.

Stolen car: A 1993 Nissan with Pennsylvania tags KXM 565 and containing wedding gifts valued at nearly $4,000 was stolen Sunday in the first block of Waterbury Court.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen car: A 1993 Chrysler LeBaron with tags XAL 175 was stolen Sunday in the 3600 block of Eitemiller Road.

Stolen car: A 1992 Honda Accord with tags BAD 342 was stolen Sunday in the 2700 block of Quarry Heights Way.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Stereo equipment valued at more than $400 was stolen Sunday from a house in the first block of Stardust Court.
