2 women arrested Tuesday on shoplifting, drug charges

County police arrested two women on shoplifting and drug charges Tuesday after a security guard at J. C. Penney in Marley Station stopped them as they left the store with more than $200 worth of clothing, county police said.

Therras Hunt, 25, of the 100 block of Old Solomon's Island Road in Edgewater and Latrola Magruder, 24, of the 700 block of Forest Drive in Annapolis were charged with theft and possession of marijuana.

A substance that tested positive for marijuana was found in the women's purses, police said.

Glen Burnie man charged with burglary, assault

County police arrested a Glen Burnie man Tuesday on charges of breaking into a house in the first block of Fourth Ave. and assaulting a resident.

Michael Kuehn, 28, of the 6600 block of Roberts Court was charged with burglary and assault.

Walter Warren told police that shortly before 3 p.m. he heard his 75-year-old mother, Margurette Eisenlohr, scream. She ran into the living room followed by a man she said had broken into her bedroom, police said.

Salvador Battaglia, Eisenlohr's boyfriend, tried to stop the man, who pushed him and ran out, police said.

When police arrested a suspect, he was combative and threatened several times to kill an officer and the president of the United States, police said.
