Appeal on denial of post office set

The County Commissioners will hear an appeal this morning of a planning department decision denying a proposed branch post office in Eldersburg.

The plans were denied under the county's new interim growth-control law. The law says any development must pass adequate-facilities tests and be compatible with the way surrounding properties use land.
