Police suspect arsonist started fire in truck's bed

County police suspect an arsonist set a fire that burned a truck's contents Sunday afternoon at Chelmsford Road and Walden Court in Crofton.

The Cline Cleaning & Hauling Service truck's bed was set on fire about 2: 45 p.m., but the cab was not damaged, police said. The fire department put out the fire, police said.

Odenton: Thieves stole chains, hooks and bars worth $620 from two trucks parked at the Odenton Shell station in the 1100 block of Annapolis Road over the weekend, county police said.


Consultant: Joan Gunby of Severna Park is working as a consultant for Longaberger Co. The company makes and sells baskets, and markets pottery, home accessories and wrought-iron products.
