Man robs NationsBank at Owen Brown center

A man robbed the NationsBank at 7170 Cradlerock Way at Owen Brown Village Center in Columbia Friday morning, county police said.

According to police, the man entered the bank alone, approached a teller and presented a note announcing the robbery. The teller gave the man an undetermined amount of money and the man fled on foot.

Police said the robber displayed no weapon and no one was injured. He was described as a 5-foot, 10-inch, 155-pound black male in his early 20s, wearing a baseball cap and a lavender pullover shirt.

The Maryland Association for Bank Security is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment. If you have any information, call the Howard County Police Department at (410) 313-2220.
