Westminster: Firefighters from Reese and Pleasant Valley assisted Westminster at 1: 22 p.m. Wednesday, responding to a smoke alarm at Winchester Exchange in the first block of E. Main St. Units were out 20 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 12: 14 a.m. Thursday to a sofa fire on Wimert Avenue. Units were out 20 minutes.

Police

Westminster: A resident of Hampstead told police that someone robbed him of jewelry at Cranberry Mall about 1: 30 p.m. Monday. The loss was estimated at $144.

Westminster: A resident of West Main Street told police that his wallet was stolen from the city playground about 1: 45 p.m. Tuesday. The loss was estimated at $13.

Westminster: A Congressional Drive resident told police that property was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked near her home Wednesday. The loss was estimated at $250.
