Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Northern District

Burglary: A compact disc player valued at $200 was stolen Sunday from a house in the 2400 block of Loyola Northway.

Robbery: A resident of the 5600 block of Greenspring Ave. was near his home Sunday when another man armed with a knife robbed him of cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

Northwestern District

Stolen car: A 1993 Subaru with tags CYE 719 was stolen Sunday in the 5300 block of Nelson Ave.

Western District

Drug arrest: A 17-year-old girl was arrested Sunday in the 1000 block of N. Carrollton Ave. and charged with possession of suspected cocaine.

Deadly weapon arrest: Police arrested a 22-year-old man Sunday a block from his home in the 900 block of N. Monroe St. and charged him with illegal possession of a loaded 9 mm Ruger P-89 semiautomatic handgun. The arrest came after police received information that the suspect was armed.

Arrests: A 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested Sunday in the 2400 block of Druid Hill Ave. and charged with possession of marijuana and a .380 semiautomatic handgun.

Drug arrest: Police arrested a 23-year-old man in the 1800 block of Vine St. on Sunday and charged him with illegal possession of narcotics. Police recovered 25 capsules of suspected heroin.

Northeastern District

Stabbing/arrest: Police arrested a man who stabbed another man in the stomach during an incident in the 2900 block of Harford Road on Sunday. The man was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Cab holdup: A gunman robbed a Jimmy's Cab driver Sunday in the 1600 block of E. Belvedere Ave.

Assault: A man was attacked by a gunman in the 2600 block of Harford Road on Sunday. The victim was treated for an injured left eye.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the Sno Cool snowball stand in the 8000 block of Philadelphia Road after breaking a lock and stole more than $200 Sunday.

Parkville Precinct

Theft from auto: An in-dash radio valued at $400 was stolen from a 1991 Ford Explorer owned by Howard County Police Department and parked in the 7900 block of Ardmore Ave. between July 13 and July 20.

Towson Precinct

Stolen car: A 1996 Jeep Cherokee with tags 800126 and valued at $34,000 was stolen Sunday in the 7800 block of Ellenham Road.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A telephone valued at $40 was stolen Sunday from an office in the clubhouse at the Dulaney Swim Club in the 200 block of Ridgely Road.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen car: A black 1993 Lexus with tags 042 AVS was stolen Sunday in the 6600 block of Linco Ave.

Robbery: A gunman robbed the Jiffy Lube in the 8100 block of Liberty Road on Sunday of cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

Purse snatch: A woman was in the 2400 block of Smith Ave. on Sunday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $100.

Burglary: Property valued at more than $400 was stolen Sunday from two cars in a garage in the 8800 block of Margate Lane.

Wilkens Precinct

Purse snatch: A couple was leaving a food store at Baltimore National Pike and Rolling Road early Sunday morning when a man stole the woman's purse containing cash and property, all valued at $25. The robber, who struck the man when he tried to aid the woman, drove away in a small green car.
