Jessup man charged in theft of milk and cigarettes at convenience store

A Jessup man was arrested on theft charges after milk and cigarettes were taken Friday from a convenience store, police said.

William Henry Arnold, 26, of Jessup was arrested at U.S. 1 and Route 175 about 5: 10 a.m. after police responded to an alarm at a High's convenience store in the 7500 block of U.S. 1, said Sgt. Steven Keller of the Howard County Police Department. Arnold was charged with theft under $300 and burglary. He was released from the Howard County Detention Center during the weekend after posting $10,000 bond.
