Holmes, Thomas join Union National Bank

Union National Bank has hired two new employees for its Westminster and Eldersburg offices.

Robert Holmes will be the manager of the commercial lending department at the Westminster branch. He will be responsible for business development, department growth goals and profitability of the commercial lending area.

Gary Thomas will work at the new Eldersburg branch, where he will be responsible for growth and business development in southern Carroll County.

Long & Foster Real Estate of Hampstead has announced its top agents for June.

Loretta Ness and Penny Wilson were the top selling agents. Fran Sturgill was the top listing agent.

Community College has business-related courses

Carroll Community College is offering several business-related courses in August at the 1601 Washington Road campus.

Client Investment Planning for CPAs provides instruction in analyzing and evaluating client financial and personal data with appropriate investment vehicles. The class is from 6: 30 p.m. to 9: 45 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Aug. 19-26. The cost is $50; senior adult fee is $20.
