July 23: Five hundred residents of Mount Winans, Baltimore County, carrying lighted torches, American flags and lanterns, marched in procession last night through the village in honor of the recent introduction of electric lights there.

July 25: As far as the law is concerned, Baltimore men are free to "ogle" any woman they choose, a check here yesterday revealed. However, such "ogling" must be entirely silent, free of gestures towards the woman being admired and free of interference with her passage.
