Egrets, Herons and Ospreys -- townhouses, not birds -- are awaiting buyers at Creekside Commons on Kent Island, where Sylmar Homes is building 45 two-story houses near Thompson Creek.

The Osprey, a 1,334-square-foot house, is the model for the Queen Anne's County community. The base price ranges from $112,900 for three bedrooms with a full and a half bath, to $115,000 for two or three bedrooms with two full and one half bath.

A foyer, coat closet, powder room, 13-by-10-foot front kitchen with pantry, 11-by-7-foot dining area and 21-by-11-foot living room occupy the entry level.

With three bedrooms and two full baths on the second floor, the master suite has an 18-by-17-foot bedroom and two closets, one of which is a walk-in.

Starting at $97,900 for 1,120 square feet, the Egret is the smallest and least expensive home Sylmar is building at Creekside.

On the first floor there is a foyer, guest closet, powder room, 15-by-12-foot living room, 11-by-11-foot dining room and 8-by-11-foot kitchen.

The second-floor bedrooms are 15-by-11-foot and 13-by-10-foot. A linen closet and full hall bath complete this level.

The Creekside sales office is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Monday. Take I-97 to U.S. 50 east across the Bay Bridge to a left on Thompson Creek Service Road, right on Marion Quimby Drive and follow signs to the sales center.

David S. Brown Enterprises has begun construction of Phase Two at Lyons Gate in Owings Mills, where the company is zTC building 264 all-brick, three-level garage townhomes with gas heat and cooking.

Some of the remaining homes in the first section are ready for immediate delivery with prices beginning at $134,900.

One model in the new section is the Monte Carlo, an end unit townhouse with 2,800 square feet of living space and a beginning price of $161,900. The cost is $165,900 with a walkout lower level.

In the lower level, there is a one-car garage, utility and storage rooms and a 22-by-14-foot recreation room. A powder room is optional.

A foyer, 15-by-13-foot front kitchen, powder room, 17-by-9-foot dining room and 27-by-14-foot living room make up the entry level.

Upstairs, the master suite has an 8-by-7-foot walk-in closet, 14-by-14-foot bedroom and bath with a soaking tub, dual vanities and separate shower. The laundry area, two more bedrooms and a full hall bath complete the second floor.

An interior unit with 2,600 square feet, the Daytona II has a starting price of $139,900. The lower level houses a single-car garage, laundry/storage room, utility room and 21-by-14-foot recreation room.
