Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Central District

Theft from van: A cellular phone valued at nearly $200 was stolen yesterdayfrom a 1995 Plymouth van parked in the first block of Market Place.

Theft from vehicle: Dress shoes valued at $200 and tennis shoes worth $60 were stolen yesterday from a 1996 Ford parked in the first block of E. Chase St.

Northern District

Robbery: A Harford County man was in the 2300 block of Hunter St. on Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of nearly $130.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a Baltimore County man of a cellular phone and cash, all valued at more than $100, in the 2200 block of Morton St. on Wednesday.

Northwestern District

Robbery: A man was leaving a store in the 5800 block of Reisterstown Road on Wednesday when another man robbed him of $10.

Theft of dog: A man was walking his eight-week-old pit bull terrier in the 3300 block of Piedmont Ave. on Wednesday when another man took the dog.

Western District

Stolen vehicle: A 1988 Freightliner tractor with tags 103F55 was stolen Wednesday in the 2200 block of Ashburton St.

Robbery: A man was in the 2600 block of Harlem Ave. on Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $70, a gold watch, radio and pager, all valued at nearly $200.

Theft from car: A radar detector valued at $150 was stolen Wednesday from a car parked at Mondawmin Mall.

Burglary: A microwave oven and an 18-inch television, all valued at $750, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1800 block of Mosher St.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A bike valued at $100 was stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 2200 block of Crossett Road.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Cash and a cordless telephone, all valued at more than $1,700, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Alder Drive.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A 40-hp outboard motor valued at $500 and an 18-speed bike valued at more than $300 were stolen Wednesday from the rear yard of a house in the 2600 block of Sparrows Point Road.

Drug arrest: A 31-year-old woman who said she was a dancer on The Block was arrested Wednesday in the 1700 block of Merritt (( Blvd. and charged with possession of suspected cocaine. Police said she was carrying four plastic bag with suspected cocaine residue.

Theft/arrest: A 32-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday when she attempted to leave the Kmart outlet in the 200 block of North Point Blvd. without paying for items valued at $164.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A bike valued at $150 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Asgard Court.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: A fax machine valued at more than $300 was stolen Wednesday from a law firm in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: A camera and coins were stolen Wednesday from a room at the Econo Lodge Motel in the 5800 block of Baltimore National Pike.

Attempted murder: A motorist stole three cases of soft drinks from a Crown gas station in the 4300 block of Leeds Ave. on Wednesday and was driving away in a 1980 Chervolet when an attendant grabbed a car door and tried to stop him. The attendant was dragged several feet before falling to the pavement but was not injured.

For the Record

Suspect arrested: Latasha Tates, 18, of the 700 block of E. 22nd St. was arrested Wednesday and charged with the fatal stabbing Sunday of Antonio Lamont Cokley Jr., 25, of the 1000 block of St. Dunstans Road. Cokley was arguing with a woman in the 1900 block of Greenmount Ave. and was stabbed several times. He soon died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The suspect is being held without bail at the Central Booking and Intake Center.
