Two homes being built are robbed

July 17, 1996

Someone broke into two homes under construction Monday and stole seven interior doors and a dishwasher, together worth $752, county police said.

James W. Weston, an employee of Pulte Homes, called police to the 8000 block of Middlebury Drive after he discovered the break-ins.

In one home, the culprit pushed open a rear door that was not properly set and took a dishwasher. Police are not certain how the burglar entered the other home.
