Raid in Brooklyn Park results in 5 drug arrests

A monthlong police investigation into drug activity in a Brooklyn Park home ended Friday night with the arrest of five people and seizure of $100 worth of crack cocaine.

Cheryl Teets, 34, Bruce Wayne Linder, 26, and James Rosso, 38, all of the 200 block of Doris Ave.; Surrano Coward, 38, of the 100 block of 11th Ave. and Belinda Mae Wilkins, 32, of the 3700 block of Leo St. in Baltimore all were charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Police set up surveillance of the house in the 200 block of Doris Ave. after neighbors complained. The police raided the house shortly after 10 p.m. Inside, they found several rocks of what later tested positive for crack cocaine and several smoking devices, police said.

Linthicum: A burglar cut off a lock to get into a storage shed at the Linthicum Baptist Church in the 600 block of S. Camp Meade Road on Wednesday night and stole a riding lawn mower, two push mowers, an electric edger and a gas-powered trimmer, all worth more than $4,400.
