Bullock named publication assistant at Bonnie Heneson

Bonnie A. Bullock of Westminster has been named publications assistant for Bonnie Heneson Communications Inc., a public relations and advertising service in Owings Mills.

She will assist with publication coordination, media relations, event planning and account services for public relations and advertising clients.

Bullock has a bachelor of arts degree in English from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va.

Union National taps 3 for Eldersburg board

Union National Bank has chosen three community leaders to sit on the advisory board of its new Eldersburg branch:

Larry Helminiak, who formed Carroll Insulation in 1970 and belongs to state and local home builders associations and the Better Business Bureau.

Holly J. Harrison Frey, who has 15 years experience as executive vice president of Frall Developers in Mount Airy. She is a member of state and local home builders and real estate organizations.

Robert Scott, who has been an orthodontist for 23 years. He is active in Rotary International and 4-H, as well as medical societies.

Little Professor to join in Bookstore Week events

Little Professor Book Store in Carrolltown Center will participate in the annual National Independent Bookstore Week July 20-26 by featuring books on the home and community spirit.

This year's theme, "Building community foundations," focuses on the role bookstores play in the community and on the promotion of books about Habitat for Humanity.
