Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore city and county.

Central District

Robbery/arrest: A Baltimore County man was in the 100 block of W. Saratoga St. on Wednesday when he was assaulted by a teen-age boy who grabbed the headset and radio he was carrying and fled. Later, police arrested a youth and charged him as a juvenile with assault and robbery.

Robbery: A 28-year-old man from the 100 block of E. Eager St. was walking near his home Wednesday when a man pointed a handgun at him and robbed him of nearly $200.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a 48-year-old resident of the 1400 block of Madison Ave. of more than $200 in the 300 block of Dolphin St. on Wednesday.

Thefts: Several vehicles parked in the 100 block of W. Chase St., the 900 block of N. Charles St., 1200 block of N. Charles St. and the first block of W. Chase St. were entered between Wednesday night and yesterday morning. Taken were cellular phones, clothing, cassettes and other property valued at more than $1,000.

Robbery: A man from the 900 block of Valley Court in Towson was in the 800 block of N. Charles St. on Wednesday when a man robbed him of his wallet containging $40.

Northwestern District

Assault: A man from the 1000 block of Marley Drive was in the 4700 block of Wabash Ave. on Wednesday when he was attacked by a man who struck him in the face. The victim was treated at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man from the 3600 block of Dolfield Ave. of more than $30 Wednesday in the 4700 block of Garrison Blvd.

Southwestern District

Assault: A 15-year-old boy was in the 600 block of Allendale Road on Wednesday night when someone fired at a shot at him. The boy was not hit and told police he knew of no one who wanted to kill him.

North Point Precinct

Police assaulted: Two officers were assaulted while trying to arrest a shoplifting suspect outside Eastpoint Mall on Wednesday. Police said Officers Joseph Ripple and Jeff Kyger were talking to a man when he struck both of them, causing TTC minor injuries. Charged with assaulting the officers and theft of a Sears Roebuck chain-saw valued at $180 was James Williams, 36, of the 700 block of E. Biddle St., Baltimore.

Parkville Precinct

Theft: Two bikes with a combined value of $300 were stolen Wednesday from the yard of a house in the first block of Pickens Court.

Robbery: An 18-year-old man was leaving a convenience store in the 8500 block of old Harford Road yesterday morning when he was robbed of $10 by several youths, including one who implied he was armed whith a handgun.
