County land-use briefing tomorrow

July 11, 1996

County planners will explain their suggestions for changes in the county's land-use laws during a four-hour seminar tomorrow in the Pascal Center for the Performing Arts at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold.

Officials from the Department of Planning and Code Enforcement have proposed changes in subdivision reviews, landscaping and parking requirements, and allowances for uses that existed before zoning laws took effect.

The changes are to be introduced to the County Council on Monday.

The seminar is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon. Registration is $10 and covers the cost of materials and refreshments. Participants may register at the door.

For more information, call John Morris, the county environmental affairs manager, at 222-7502.
