Go on a fossil-hunting expedition and have geologists help you identify your newfound treasures Saturday at Calvert Cliffs State Park in Lusby.

The Fossil Festival also features geology displays, children's activities and lots of food.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free. Call (301) 872-5688. For an all-star lineup of country performers, attend the second annual Pocono Country Music Festival this weekend at Big Boulder Lake in Pennsylvania. Headlining the event will be Bryan White, Rhett Akins and Lari White. Also featured are the Cowtones, New Frontier, Matter of the Heart and Jerry O'Toole.

You will be able to learn the latest in country line and couple dances from professional instructors, and there will be plenty of food, arts and crafts and children's activities.

Festival hours are noon to 9: 30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6: 30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $17 per day for adults and $1 for children 2-12. Advance tickets are $12. Call (800) 468-2442.
