July 10, 1996

A Glen Burnie man was arrested Monday, accused of assaulting another man by pointing a gun at him and threatening his life in a telephone call, county police said.

Fred Aaron, 48, of the 8000 block of Donna Court was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Kevin Johnson, 32, of the 400 block of Darton Court in Glen Burnie told police a man called him shortly after 10 a.m., threatening him, and a short time later appeared at his door with a handgun at his side.

When the man pointed the weapon at him, Johnson slammed the door and called police.

Johnson gave police a tag number for the car the gunman drove away in, and police traced it to the Donna Court address, where they arrested Aaron.
