A good reason to throw tomatoes

Tossing together a meal is easier than ever with new Tomato Toss. The dried mix of tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, garlic, spinach, shallots, jalapenos, celery, peppers and spices, can be used in pasta, salads, pizza, etc. There will be tastings of Tomato Toss today through Sunday at Sutton Place Gourmet, 1809 Reisterstown Road.

Wondering if you should toss out that 2-year-old bottle of ketchup? Send a stamped, self-addressed envelope asking for "The Food Keeper," a free, informational brochure produced in part by the Food Marketing Institute. The address is c/o Publication Sales, 800 Connecticut Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. Pub Date: 7/03/96
